Oreno specialises in kushiyaki that are meat or vegetables on bamboo skewers, cooked on a charcoal grill and served on a bed of fresh crunchy salad. A choice of chicken thigh, pork belly and striploin beef fillet for the carnivores, or king oyster mushroom and soy wheat tofu for the vegeterians.
Kushiyaki can be experienced as a snack with a beer or as a donburi meal served with double the number of skewers in a bowl with sticky rice.
Every skewer is assembled by hand and the kushiyaki tare marinade is made free from wheat based soy or honey making it gluten free and suitable for a vegan diet.
Your kushiyaki dish is always garnished with finely sliced spring onion and sesame seeds with an extra splash of the sweet and savoury tare sauce. Choose from a sweet miso or wasabi mayonnaise for extra flavour on top of your kushiyaki.
